Faith Abiding Ministries in a nonprofit organization with the mission to meet the immediate financial, spiritual and mental health needs of our community. Safe Haven Youth Program is one of FAM's programs designed to meet the changing needs of individuals and families in the wake of COVID-19.
We understand that parents have work demands and that while distance learning is helpful, it also poses a problem for working parents or those who don't quite know how to support their child in the academic requirements it presents.
WE ARE HERE TO HELP
Our team of child care professionals have a combined total of 78 years experience working with youth of all ages. Our staff are child care qualified and many are Christian youth leaders.
Ms. Lemons holds over 8 years experience working with youth in a daycare setting as an Assistant Director. She engages youth in a fun and creative teaching method. She has two little ones (dogs) and spends her spare time thinking of fun activities for her students. She is exceptionally secure with youth.

Ms. Tina has 5 years experience working in a daycare environment as well as 10 years as a loving mother of two beautiful tweens. Like Ms. Lemons, Ms. Tina holds the safety of all children dear to her heart. Older youth love her ability to develop fun activities and organize creative learning methods.

Mrs. Cheryl has over 12 years in direct child care experience. She holds a Master's Degree in Event Planing and Interior Design which she uses to create awesome learning spaces and hosts the best parties!! She can make any event feel like a trip to Disney land and youth enjoy her loving, understanding and patient demeanor.

Mrs. Carey has over 15 years organizing and maintaining youth afterschool and social services programs. With a Master's Degree in Human Service Counseling, Mrs. Carey is able to reach youth. She teaches in a way that young people can understand and is Certified in Youth Development.

Mr. Carey is the Executive Director of Faith Abiding Ministries and a loving parent of three. He has coached little league baseball and have been a Christian Youth Leader for over 8 years. He builds rapport with jokes and dancing and always has a listening ear. He is a great male role model.
